Russ Micoli
Bio
Russ Micoli, Vice President of Behavioral Health Services at Jefferson Health New Jersey. In this role he is responsible for the operational oversight, strategic planning and business development the Behavioral Health service line. He also oversees Jefferson’s EMS services as well as STAT Medical Transport. Russ has over 30 years of experience working in New Jersey’s mental health and substance use service system. He came to Kennedy in 1989 as director of the Children’s Crisis Intervention Services at Kennedy, when he spearheaded the opening of the first acute child and adolescent inpatient mental health service in southern New Jersey. Over the years, his role expanded to oversee the system’s child, adolescent and adult services, and in 2000 he became the Corporate Director of Behavioral Health Services overseeing the full product line across the service continuum. In 2013, Russ took on his current role as Vice President. He was the founding Chair of the South Jersey Behavioral Health Innovation Collaborative and past chair and current member of the New Jersey Hospital Association’s Behavioral Health Constituency Work Group. Russ has a Master’s Degree in Counseling & Educational Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA.
