Mitch Vidovich

Mitch Vidovich is the Director of Government Affairs for Independence Blue Cross. In this role, he communicates the company’s public policy positions to elected officials and regulators at the federal, state and local levels. This includes Independence’s key priorities to address the ongoing opioid epidemic.

Prior to his work at Independence, he served for five years as a senior staff member to U.S. Senator Pat Toomey, both on Capitol Hill and in Pennsylvania. He serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Delaware County Child Advocacy Center and is a member of the regional Narcotics Overdose Prevention & Education Task Force. He is a graduate of Susquehanna University and is completing his Master’s in Business Administration at Villanova University.
